Eliza Adams was born on Oct. 5, 1884 to Elizabeth (Flaugher) Adams.[1] Her death record states that she was also the daughter of Elizabeth Flaugher Adams' husband, Jesse Adams, but since he died May 17, 1877, that would not be possible.[2] He is buried at the Deal Hill Cemetery in Carter County, Kentucky.[3]
Eliza married John M. Witten, son of George Witten and Mary Williams, on Nov. 26, 1906 in Boyd County, Kentucky.[4]

John Ralph, born Nov. 3, 1913, married Edna Blanche Spencer
Eliza Witten died on Nov. 1, 1951 of an intestinal obstruction at the age of 67 years. She is buried at the Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington, West Virginia.[5]
She left a Will that was probated on Feb. 28, 1952 in Cabell County, West Virginia.[6]
