Eileen Hope Trestan, 91, of New Kensington, died Thursday, April 21, 2016, in Life Care Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born Nov. 26, 1924, in New Kensington, to the late William "Nipsey" and Clara Caperell Adams, and was a lifelong resident of the local area. She was employed at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., in 1942. She worked in the office of Silverman's Department Store and also had worked at her family's business William Adams Music. She enjoyed crafts, especially needlepoint and crocheting. She is survived by her grandchildren, Christine (John White) Bogar-White and Melissa (Ken Hargy) Bogar-Hargy; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Savannah White; and son-in-law, Steve Bogar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Anthony "Unchie" Trestan; daughter, Kathleen Trestan Bogar; and sisters, Marjorie Adams Szuch and Delores "Bobby" Adams. In accordance with her wishes, private visitation and funeral service by the Rev. Harold Mele was held at the RUSIEIWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Lower Burrell.
