Biography

Edith A Adams was born at Litchfield, Maine in 1865, the daughter of Alvin Adams and Mary Trask.

The 1870 US census for Litchfield, Maine lists residents Alvin Adams (31), a farmer, his wife Ethelin [sic] M (25) and their children Edith A (4), a student, Lillian E (2) and Livia S (1). Alvin owns real estate valued at $2000 and a personal estate of $400.

The 1880 US census of Dixfield, Maine conducted 12 Jun 1880 lists residents Alvin Adams (42), a farmer, his wife Mary (35) and their children Edith (14), a student, Livea (11), a student, Jesse (2), and George (9 months). NOTE: "George" is actually son Delmont.

She married Warren William Rollins at Dixfield, Maine on 14 May 1885. They were the parents of one child, Maude Edith Rollins b. 2 May 1886 at Dixfield, Maine, d. 1 Apr 1965.

She passed away in 1889 and is buried at the Severy Hill Cemetery, Dixfield, Maine.
