Biography
When Leler Almater Adams was born on March 10, 1878, in Pond Springs, Georgia, her father, James, was 26, and her mother, Sylvania, was 23.[1] She married twice, first to William Charles Coppick in 1897,[2] they had one child:
- Roy Lee (1898–1963)
William died in 1898, even before Roy was born, and she remarried to Edwin C Doty in 1901;[3] their known children are:
- Lilly May (1908–)
- Eugene Fredrick (1911–1991)
- Addie Belle 'Bobbie' (1913–1995)
- Lourene (1916–1997)
- Lucile (1919–2005)[4]
Edwin died in 1955 and Leler died on August 15, 1973,[5] in Wilson, Oklahoma, at the age of 95, and was buried there.[6]
