Biography

Gibson Adams was born 3 Jan 1786 in Wilkes County, North Carolina, United States. He died 3 Sep 1833 (aged 47) in Wilkes County, North Carolina, United States and was buried at Moravian Falls Cemetery in Moravian Falls, Wilkes County, North Carolina, United States. [1]

Gibson was in a Pvt. in Capt A. Carltons Company of NC Militia during the War of 1812. He served from Nov 24, 1814 to Dec 8, 1814 and then again from Feb 19, 1815 to March 9, 1815. He drew a pension from this and His wife received a widows pension from this also.[2]

On 17 Aug 1815 Gibson Adams married Susanna Hampton in Wilkes, North Carolina, United States [3]
