Ann (Adams) Towerton migrated from England to Queensland.
Ann (Adams) Towerton was born in Little Kimble, Buckinghamshire, England.
Anne was born 16 March 1826 and registered at the Princes Rsborough Upper Chapel (Baptist) in Little Kimble, Buckinghamshire, England. Her parents were recorded as James Adams and Frances White, daughter of John White. [1]
Ann Adams married Daniel Towerton in the 3rd quarter of 1849 in the district of Wycombe, Buckingham. [2]
Accompanied by their eldest four children, Daniel and Ann migrated to Australia aboard the Irene; departing London on 13th July 1858 and arriving at Port Adelaide on 5th November 1858. The family then made their way to Queensland, where they settled.
She passed away in 1913 in Queensland.
