Notes
Joseph Adams inherited his father's homestead, as after about 1651 all the children had left Braintree. He was constable about 1689, and surveyor of highways 1693. The Joseph Adams who made Freeman of the Colony 18 May 1653 at Boston, seems to be this John Adams[6]
