You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week so I am checking in to see how it is going. The New Member How-Tos are for you to work at your own pace. If you had time to look, were they helpful?
I'm here to help with questions about how WikiTree works. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page. I'll get back to you by the end of the day.

PS If you get a "Page Not Found" error when clicking WikiTree email links, you can often find a working version in the public comments on your profile.
PPS Did you discover that the tags on your profile are clickable links to a page of other people who have that tag? You can add more, up to 20 total.
Hi Tom, Welcome. I worked on your profile of William Walker Adams-35289.
I realize you probably haven't had time to read all the WT style how-tos. I'll be happy to answer an questions you have abt. what I did. One thing WT asks for is page #s in books you list as sources. Do you have them?
Thanks for your work.
Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.
Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
This is just a note to say hello and to let you know that I'm available to answer questions about WikiTree.

Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential.
These seem to fit Irish Roots Project for Proctor ancestors, or England Project for Adams ancestors. Click the link to read how to join.
Please refer to the new recommended sources for Pre-1700s.Cite Reliable sources
Or use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find a project..
For questions, just ask!
