Samuel Adams was born on 11 March 1779 in Boothbay, Maine. His parents were Samuel Adams and Sarah (Reed) Adams[1].

He married Sarah "Sally" McCobb on 23 February 1804 in Boothbay[2]. They had ten children, all born in Boothbay[3]:

1. Andrew, born 7 Sep 1805; married Mary Hodgdon
2. William, born 6 Mar 1808; married Martha Davis
3. Mary, born 15 Sep 1810; married James Russ
4. Samuel, born 4 Jul 1813; married Lucetta Boutelle
5. Rufus, born 16 Oct 1816; married Jane Holton
6. Sarah, born 10 Feb 1822; died 1841
7. Margery, born 10 Aug 1825; married 1st John Pinkham, 2nd David McCobb

Samuel passed away on 28 June 1852 in Boothbay[4] and is buried in Kenniston Cemetery[5].
