Biography

When Bessie Lovene ADAMS was born on June 10, 1895, in Wilson, Missouri, her father, Obadiah, was 22, and her mother, Mary, was 19. She married Leonard B. Christian on August 1, 1915, in Dallas, Missouri. They had six children in 22 years. She died on September 18, 1987, in Lexington, Missouri, at the age of 92, and was buried there. At some time Bessie resided with her maternal grandfather and appears in those years as Bessie L Chandler.

Bessie was born on June 10, 1895 in Wilson Township, Missouri. She was the daughter of Obadiah Adams and Mary Chandler. She married Leonard Burdine Christian on August 1, 1915 in Long Lane, Missouri. They had 3 children. Leonard passed away in 1957. She passed away in September 18, 1987 in Lexington, Missouri at age 92. She was buried in Machpelah Cemetery in Lexington, Missouri.
