Elizabeth was born about 1715. She passed away about 1751.
Research Notes
According to a RootsWeb thread [1], Jonathan Tipton (b. 1699) married 4 times. Two wives, his first and his fourth, had the given name Elizabeth. His first wife was Elizabeth Edwards. His fourth wife was Elizabeth Adams. It is not appropriate to list each of these women with current last name "Edwards, Adams" or "Adams, Edwards".

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
FamilySearch sources and profiles more clearly explain the wives and children of Jonathan Tipton. The children Edward Tipton and John Tipton posted on Elizabeth Adam's profile belong to Elizabeth Edwards and Jonathan Tipton. The children William Tipton and Joseph Tipton are believed to be Mary Chilcoat's children. The children Maj. Jonathon Tipton and Sarah Tipton are Elizabeth Adams' children. These tend to be based on when the different wives died and Jonathan Tipton wed new wives.
This document I believe to be associated with Elizabeth and clarification of whether she is Elizabeth Edwards daughter of John Edwards or Elizabeth married to the son of John Edwards (1), John Edward (2). I would like to find documentation of the Adams component. I do not know where that came from.
