When Haskell Leon Adams was born on July 22, 1907, in Johnston, Oklahoma,[1] his father, Lucian, was 29 and his mother, Bertha, was 28. He had two brothers and two sisters. He died on April 30, 1953, in Oklahoma at the age of 45, and was buried in Madill, Oklahoma.[2]
