Biography

Samuel Adams, son of [Adams-406] Jeremy Adams was baptized 23 November 1645 in Hartford, Connecticut. Jeremy was married to Rebecca Taylor when Samuel was born.[1]

Samuel died before 16 July 1653. Thomas Greenhill, half brother of Samuel Adams, was heir to his father's lands. His will dated 16 July 1653, names his heirs: his sister Rebeckah Shepherd, his mother, and "her Children, that is to say, to her son John Addams & to her 3 daughters, Hanna, Hester & Sarah,"[2] Samuel was not listed.

Notes

Although many of the links go to a private tree, I checked The Ancestry trees for Samuel Adams b. 1645 died 1661. Most of them have him as a child of Jeremy Adams and Rebecca Taylor Baseden Greenhill. There aren't two of them.

Adams-30128 and Adams-416 do not represent the same person because: Adams 416 did not live long enough to have children. Nova Weller
Adams-30128 and Adams-416 appear to represent the same person because: I think my Crane family ran into your Adams family
Adams-16994 and Adams-416 appear to represent the same person because: They were both born to the same parents 1645/46 ish. The 1661 death date was a before 1661. before 1653 is just a tighter date.

Adams-16994 and Adams-416 are not ready to be merged because: There is not enough information .
Adams-16994 and Adams-416 appear to represent the same person because: Look the same. Samuel was baptized 23 Nov 1645. Some sources list his death by 1661, but it was earlier than that see bio at Adams-416

Adams-5214 and Adams-416 do not represent the same person because: too much information just doesn't match up, i.e. different birth dates and different birth locations (different states); death dates are "off" by almost 100 years and different death locations given; different children listed on both profiles (none the same) The only thing these 2 profiles have in common is the listing of Mary (Meeker) Adams as his wife.

Adams-5214 and Adams-416 appear to represent the same person because: The birthdate and death date are different BUT adams-416 has birthdate/deathdate combination which would indicate that he died before age 1.

I believe these profiles represent the same person.

Cheers, Susan
