Biography
Jeremiah Adams was born to Selleck and Anne (Crane) January 13,1794 at Salisbury, Litchfield county, Connecticut. During his teens the family moved to Thompson, New York.
Jeremiah's first marriage was on May 16, 1816, to Catherine Bowen, born 1798 in New York state. Together they had eight children. She died at the age of 38 on January 29, 1836.
His second marriage was to Elizabeth "Betsey" (Willard) Shadduck, sometime between 1837 and 1840. She was born March 21, 1791 in Vermont and died August 21, 1864.
Jeremiah died December 20, 1883.
