Biography

Susannah was christened on 28th March1802. She is the daughter Richard Adams and Mary Hutchins. She passed away in 1854 in South Australia.

• William christened 'Balden' 15th October 1826.
• John christened 'Balden' 8th March 1829. Married Ann Buckingham 1847.
• Mary christened 4th December 1831. Married William Wade 4th July 1851 at Chapel, Gawler Plains S.A. She is 19 and William is 24.
• Wiliam christened 'Barden' 28th July 1834.
• Jabez Barden born Newport Pagnell 1840. Married Bridget Quilman on 13th October1858 S. A. He died 2 months later aged 19, Dry Creek. S.A.
• Elizabeth born Newport Pagnell 1842. Married Edward White At Gawler Plains S.A. 1866.

Susannah's husband Joseph was to remarry in South Australia on 21st June 1855 to Mary Bolton. Their daughter Eliza Fanny Barden was born in South Australia in 1858. She married Henry William Cook in 1877, the son of Mary Adams(eldest daughter of Richard and Bettey Adams) and William Cook.

The death notice in the leader 21st September 1907 for Mary (Bolton) Barden: On 17th September at her son-in-laws residence Cobaw, Mary, relict of the late Joseph Barden, aged 85.
