Biography

William J. Adams was born about March 1824 in South Carolina.[1]

He married Mary Margaret Marlin, daughter of John Morrow Marlin and Rachel (Graham) Marlin,[2][3]

He was a farmer when he and Mary appeared on the census of 26 Aug. 1850 at Chester County, South Carolina. Her parents were listed next to them.[4]

William died on 26 June 1854 probably in White County, Illinois and was buried at West Union Cemetery, Brownsville, White County, Illinois. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
