Alice McClelland Adams was born on 15 Dec 1862, probably in Iredell County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of James Adams and Emaline Hall. She died on 17 Oct 1877 in Iredell County. She was buried in the Fifth Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Cool Springs Township, Iredell County.^{[1][2] [3]}
