Biography

A Jane Adams was the first wife of Nicholas Rockwood aka Rockett.[1]

Some pre-merged profiles claim she was born 1624 King's Weston (within present day Bristol), Somerset, England, and might have been a daughter of the immigrants Henry Adams and Edith Squire. But no such daughter has been documented.

She died 15 Dec 1651 or 1654.[citation needed]

I'm detaching her from parents Henry Adams-277 and Edith Squire-1 until we can find evidence that she was their daughter.

What is the evidence that the first wife of Nicholas Rockwood was Jane or Joan Adams, and that she was daughter of Henry and Edith (Squire) Adams? I have yet to see evidence that Henry and Edith had a daughter named Jane/Joan. Thanks.
