Biography

Sarah, daughter of Thomas and Bathsheba (Bradford) Adams, was born in Kingston, MA on December 3, 1732. She married Caleb Cooke in 1753. Sarah and Caleb had two children, Bartlett and Amos. Her first husband died in 1756 in Kingston, MA. She married Gershom Cobb in 1766 and was left a widow again when he died in 1799. Sarah died in Kingston on April 27, 1818.

Sarah was a descendant of Pilgrims William Bradford, John Alden, Richard Warren, and William Brewster.
