William Mitchell Grigg Adams[1] was born on June 25, 1850, in McNairy County, Tennessee, the child of Jeremiah Adams[2] and Ann Hamilton. He married three times, firstly to Helen Connally on 28 Nov 1879 in Lee, Mississippi[3], he married secondly Clarisa Annie Mittie Easterling on 4 jul 1883 in Texas[4], and thirdly he married Almira Williamson on 22 Oct 1897 in Bell, Texas[5]. He died on October 19, 1918[6], in Campbell, Texas, at the age of 68, and was buried there.[7]
