Constantia (Adamski) Mohr, Peter's wife, was ten yrs younger than Peter. Constantia came from the province of Posen, Poland. She was a genius. She knew the bible better than anyone around. Mr. Saufbauer and Mr. Sieling had a dispute about a certain bible verse and Mr. Sieling said, "let's go to Mrs Mohr; she will know." And they came to a justified conclusion. Constantia also taught school in Poland after she graduated from the sixth grade.
The Province where ?Constantia was born happened to be split during the war when Kaiser Wilhelm was leader. Constantia's brother was killed in that war. She had five sisters, Rose, Victoria, Frances, Agnes, and Lucy.
Rose Adamski was the first of Constantia's sisters to come to America. She got a job at the Henry Drahman home. Then she helped ?Constantia to get to the U.S. Constantia was 17 years old when she came. She then met Peter Mohr, since Mrs. Henry Drahman was a Mohr, Matthew's daughter. You see, Frederick Mohr had two brothers, Matthew and Peter. Matthew's daughters were Mary and Emma. Mary became known as Mrs. Henry Drahman and Emma changed her name to Mrs. Mike Daly. Peter Fredericks other brother also had a daughter, who married a Bogenschutz.
Now we will switch back to Constantia (Admanski) Mohr's sisters. Rose married a Sczygiel. Victoria married a Washtoch. Frances never came to America. Agnes came with her sister, Lucy. Lucy married a Blash. They had two sons Andrew and Joe Blash. Andrew was a doctor and Joe worked for Eastman Kodak.
Before Lucy married Sczygiel, she and Agnes came to this Perham area. Lucy lived with her sister, Constantia very shortly. Later on , in 1935 Lucy came back to visit her in Minnesota. Lucy Ceynowa was named after her Aunt Lucy.
All of Frederick's children , including Peter and his wife, Constantia , lived at the Lena Mohr farm in a log house. It was there on Nov. 1, 1888, that peter and Constantia's first child, Mary Magdalene , was born
