Biography

Arthur was born in 1793.

Arthur Smith Adamson entered Trinity College in 1810. He was ordained as a deacon in September 1815.[1] He graduated Trinity College with Divinity Degree in 1818. He became Curate of St Paul's in 1818. He applied as chaplain to His Majesty's Forces at King's Military Infirmary in April 1818.[2]

Arthur Smith Adamson and Emily Jane Barry were married in 1818.[3]He was admitted as freeman of the city of Dublin in 1820. He received a license as chaplain to the House if Industry in Dublin on June 20 1822. He graduated with a Master's of Divinity from Trinity College in 1823.[4] A son was born in 1835.[5]

He lived at Glebe House, Phibsborough, near Dublin. He appears in the voter registry in Grange Gorman, where he was rector.[6][7] There was a legal case involving Grange Gorman's minister's money in 1831.[8] He also appears in the voter registry for Dublin in October 1832.

He passed away April 23, 1843, at Phibsborough, County Dublin, Ireland.[9]
