Biography
Gladys was born in 1903 in the townland of Ballymacanallen, County Armagh, Ireland, the daughter of John Adamson and Eliza Donaldson.[1] In 1921 she married John Woods, a postman from Ballynagarrick, County Down. She was working as a housekeeper.[2] They had two children in Northern Ireland and in 1927 emigrated to Canada, settling in Hamilton, Ontario.[3] She passed away in 1956 and is buried in Woodland Cemetery, Hamilton, Ontario.[4]
