Biography
Jane Adamson (1848-1890) was born in Broughton, Lincolnshire in 1848. She was the daughter of Thomas Adamson & Sarah Holliday.
[1][2]
She lived in Broughton for all her childhood
[3]
but when older she worked as a parlour maid in the household of a barrister in Wath upon Dearne in Yorkshire.
[4]
She married on the 20 January 1879 at All Saints, Brightside in Sheffield to Joseph Sheader, a watch and clockmaker.
[5][6]
They moved to Fleetwood in Lancashire and lived initially on East Street there
[7]
where a few of her children were born
[8]
before moving to West Street nearby before 1886.
[9]
She would have a couple more children in Fleetwood before moving to Rawtenstall, Lancashire in 1889. In December, whilst living in Back Roberts Street there, she had another child which was sadly stillborn and buried in the local cemetery on the 31st December 1889.
Jane died there in May 1890
[10]
and was buried in Rawtenstall Cemetery on the 14th May 1890.
