Leslie was born in 1924. He was the son of Bill Adcock and Fannie Matthews. In 1930, the family was living in Simpson County, Mississippi.[1] They were still there in 1940.[2]
He passed away in 1996. Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery, Mize, Smith County, Mississippi.[3]
