Mary "Polly" E. Addington was born on February 6, 1810 in Scott County, Virginia to Charles Cromwell Addington I and Anna Doty Addington. She married Anderson Quillen on January 23, 1836[1][2]. Anderson and Mary had 9 children between 1835 and 1853. Mary died on June 1, 1900 in Sneedsville, Hancock County, Tennessee and is buried in the Click Cemetery[3] .
