Pearl Naomi Addis was born February 2, 1915, daughter of Emmett Moral Addis and Caroline Margaret Capel.

On 2 April 1930 the McElhaney family lived in Cherry St, Weathersfield, Trumbull, Ohio, USA ^[1] Fred Mcelhaney (34) Laborer with wife Margaret Mcelhaney (36), step-daughter Pearl Addis (15) and children Geraldine Mcelhaney (12), Raymond Mcelhaney (10), Harry Mcelhaney (7) & Paul Mcelhaney (5).

On 1 April 1940 the McElhaney family lived in South Ninth Street, Connellsville, Fayette, Pennsylvania. ^[2] Frederick P Mc Elhaney (45) Janitor with wife Caroline M Mc Elhaney (46), Pearl M Mc Elhaney (25), Harry W Mc Elhaney (17), Paul D Mc Elhaney (15) with Widowed father-in-law Samuel C Staley (77).

She passed away on 16 September 1949 and her Obit is under the name McElhaney and there is no mention of her biological father or sisters. ^[3]
