Biography

Alta Foshee "Shorty" "Altie" Addison, son of Frederick A. Addison and Missouria (Kay) Addison, was born on 16 March 1907[1] at Vernon Parish, Louisiana.[2]

He appeared on the census of 26 April 1910 in the home of his parents at Vernon Parish, Louisiana.[3]

He married Velda Selester Tabor on 26 Dec. 1926 at Anacoco, Vernon Parish, Louisiana.

He married Vada Martha Price in 1951.[2]

Alta died on 7 Aug. 1993[1] at Live Oak County, Texas.[4] His body was donated to medical science and his ashes were given to a family member. His memorial has biographical material and links to those of family members.[2]
