Albert farmed in Mercer County, Missouri until about 1909, then in vicinity of Togo, Saskatchewan, Canada (Municipality of Shell River, Manitoba) for two years, then returned to Princeton, Missouri to operate a drug store, He moved back to Canada and farmed from 1913 to 1927, then back to near Princeton for two years, then again in Canada for a year, then back to Mercer and Grundy Counties, Missouri. The five oldest children were born in Mercer County, and the four youngest in Canada.
