Leonard was born in 1900 at Hant's Harbour, Newfoundland. He was the son of Samuel Adey and Fannie Louise King.
In 1921 he was living at Hant's Harbour in the household of his parents, Samuel and Fannie Louise Adey.[1]
He married Gertrude King about 1929. They were living at Hant's Harbour in 1935 with two children in the household of Leonard's parents. Len's occupation was listed as a sailor (steam ships).[2]
Len and his family were living at Hant's Harbour in 1945.[3] Both of his parents had passed away before 1945.
Leonard passed away in 1988 and is buried in the New United Church Cemetery at Hant's Harbour. Newfoundland.[4]
