Elizabeth had at least one sibling: Mary Anne (Adin) Hull (c1804-), wife of William Hull (c1806-1862).
Elizabeth Adin married Cornelius Aldam on 11 Oct 1836 in Bolsover, Derbyshire.[1]
Elizabeth and Cornelius had six daughters: Kezia Aldam (1837-1841), Ada Elizabeth (Aldam) (Bartholomew) Poole (1839-1899), Lavinia (Aldam) (Potts) Hemingbrough (1840-1910), Kezia (Aldam) Hull (1842-1928), Emma Aldam (1844-1860), and Sarah Christiana Aldam (1851-1851).
In 1841 Elizabeth Aldam (age 30-34) lived in Crowle with her husband Cornelius (35-39) and three daughters: Kezia (3), Ada (2), and Lavinia (0), as well as two unrelated people (servants?): William Haldenby (50-54) and Susannah Smith (12).[2]
In 1851 Elizabeth "Adam" (age 43) lived in Crowle with her husband Cornelius (45, Butcher & Farmer) and three of her daughters: Keziah (8), Emma (6), and Sarah C (0), as well as three servants: William Holdenby (65, Journeyman), William Temperton (19, Farm Labourer), and Sarah Brighty (18, House Servant).[3] Elizabeth's two older daughters Ada (12) and Lavinia (10) were living with their uncle Jonathan Aldam (38, Grocer & Draper).
Elizabeth Aldam passed away in Crowle in 1860, aged 52 years. Her death was registered in Thorne, Yorkshire in the first quarter of the year.[4]
