Standing on porch left to right Rosannah (Adkins) McMahan, Anna M. (Stephens) Pell, Robert Clay McMahan (Rosannah's son and my great grandfather). The lady sitting on the steps is Edna Earl (Pell) McMahan (Robert's wife and Anna Pell's daughter). The children are as follows child standing next to Ann is Doris DuPerrieu, right below her sitting next to Edna McMahan is Anne Estelle Duperrieu and the small child in front of Estell is Dollie (Florence) Duperrieu, the small child in front of Edna McMahan is Edna and Robert Clay McMahan's daughter Kathleen McMahan. The Duperrieu girls are the daughters of Edna's sister Florence (Pell) DuPerrieu who died in child birth in 1904 shortly before this picture was taken. Dollie DuPerrieu was born 28 Apr 1903 and looks to be one or two years old. The picture was taken in front of Robert and Edna's house (Rosannah also lived there) at 1154 N. 12th, Paducah, Kentucky. I had the opportunity to visit Paducah a few years back and found the house is still there with only minor alterations. Robert McMahan was a builder by trade and I know he built several houses that he and Edna lived in so it is possible that he built this house also. ^[2]
