He was a merchant when he and Elizabeth appeared on the census of 8 Oct. 1850 at Hopkins County, Texas.[1] He was a farmer when he appeared on the census of 7 June 1860 in the home of his daughter and son-in-law at Cove Creek, Washington County, Arkansas.[2]
The Find a Grave memorial shows year of death as 1882.
