"The Adkins Family of Wayne County, West Virginia, Also Cabell, Lincoln and Boone" by Ronnie Adkins does not draw on Grace Gregory's book or the Leavell website, both were created after the book was published in 1990.

On page 738, Ronnie only mentions "141. Elizabeth m. Richard Shockley" and the books mentions nothing else on the family. I have a copy of the book in pdf format which is available for download from any LDS center.

The Leavell site is where the above comment is copied from. Jane offers no sources but does have an accurate copy of William Adkins will posted which shows his daughter as Elizabeth Shockley.

Adkins-4979 and Adkins-235 appear to represent the same person because: same date, same place, same spouse, same child.
Elizabeth is my ancestor , but i am not a profile manager but may i suggest to the profile managers that the profile does look cluttered and can use some cleaning up .. condense info maybe?? .. just a suggestion ..

Jerry, I added some categories to Elizabeth Adkins' profile page. You can click on the category links and it will take you to the category pages. You can see how this is done by going to the edit page. Some of my ancestors are listed on the Henrico and Halifax County, Virginia pages.

You can click the 'Find' menu (top right corner of most any page) and select 'categories' to see what kind of categories we have so far. There are lots of them, but there's an ongoing category project so volunteers are continually adding more.
