Biography

Martin is the son of Goldsberry Adkins [1]and Cynthia Lovejoy. He was born in March of 1842. [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

On January 10th, 1861 he married Susan Lovejoy. [7] According to the US Census Report of 1900 they had five children still living.

They are:

  • Goldsbury- 8 years old
  • Elliot- 7 years old
  • Julia A.- 6 years old
  • Eureka C.- 1 year old
  • Susan J.- one month old

The couple may have had other children that died young.

It is unknown when Martin passed away.
