Biography

Lucy 'Jane' Adkins was born in 1848^[1] in Tennessee. She was the daughter of Calvin Adkins and Eleanor Mitchell. At age 2 she was in her parent's home in Anderson co., Tennesse.^[2] She was in her parent's home At age 12, along with 4 of her siblings.^[3]

She married David E. A. Davis (1858-1926) on December 9, 1877 in Anderson, co., Tennessee.^[4] They had 4 children.

4. Katherine "Katie" Lockey Atkins Hawkins (1890-1937)^[6]

She passed away on Nov 9, 1916 in Anderson Co., Tennesse and was buried in the Davis Cemetery.^[1] She died of Intestinal Cancer, at age 63.^[7]
