Robert was born on May 23rd, 1022 to Charles Adkins and Edith Maze.[1]

He enlisted in the United States Army during World War II in 1942 and served almost 3 years before being discharged in 1945.[2] Robert was wounded in action at St. Lo, France on 13 Jul 1944.[3]

On May 10th, 1952, Robert married Ethel Rice.[4]

He passed away on December 22nd, 1990.[5]

Robert's enlistment date is recorded as 31 Oct 1942 in the "Young American Patriots" book from West Virginia.[3]
