Timothy Young Adkins Married Susan Sales Williams on 24 May 1871 in Harrison County, Texas.[1]
In early 1900 Tim was hunting in the area of land belonging to J.B. Tullis when, while crossing a fence, the gun accidentally discharged. The projectile caused Tim to lose part of his left arm, just below the elbow. The local paper: The Marshal Messenger, reported the story. in the story was mentioned people who came to his rescue to stop the bleeding: a colored man named Tom Hollins, Tom Hartley, and Ed. Stephens. Tim was treated at the T. & P. hospital[2]
He passed away in 1926.
