Frederik Adriaanse married Johanna Catherina van de Kaap[3][4]
Please note that Johanna Catherina van der Kaap, appears to be the same person as Rachel van de Caap as , on the baptism of Aletta Geertruyda, Rosina Catharina, Maria Elisabeth, Juliana and Jacobus Cornelis she appears as Rachel van de Caap but below the baptisms it notes that while born illegitimate, they were legitimised by the 24 Nov 1793 marriage : [5]
The marriage date matches the marriage of Fredrik Adriaanse and Johanna Catharina van de Caap ,who is recorded as a freed slave. Some slaves purportedly changed their names when freed. [6]

Juliana Adriaanse van Cabo de Goede Hoop married Jan Mostert of Wieringen on 5 Aug 1759. Some assumed the Jan Mostert's connection to Frederick Adriaantz is through his wife Juliana Adriaantz/Adriaanse. It is possible that Frederik is Juliana's brother as one of the illegitimate children of Rachel van de Caap and purported father Frederik Adriaanse is baptised Juliana on the 11 April 1784. It was common practice to name children after grandparents and siblings and the dates are plausible [11]
