Rose Emily Ady was baptised in Stoke Damerel on 31 July 1821, she was the daughter of William Ady and Sophia March[1]
She married Richard Dunning White in Stoke Damerel on 1 April 1848. Richard was a Commander in the Royal Navy, and the son of Thomas White, a rear Admiral. Rose was the daughter of William Ady, a gentleman. Her brother William Brice Ady was the officiating minister. [2]
Rose died in Heavitree on 8 March 1909, and was buried there on 11 March. Probate on her estate was granted to Richard William White, vice admiral retired and George Thomas White, esquire [3][4]
