John was born 17 January 1898 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. He is the son of Jacob Aeppli and Louise Hedler. He married Margaret Marie (Lundstrom) Bell after 1940 since not on any census' together. They had no children. John was a Laborer and Trackman for Erie Railroad. John passed away 19 May 1985 in Honesdale, Wayne County, Pennsylvania. He is buried at Glen Cove Cemetery in Sullivan County, New York.
