Wilson is listed as a "free negro" in St Brides Parish in 1816 and 1817.
There is a Wilson Africa listed in the 1830 census. The age of this Wilson is young to be a son of Nell. So it is possible that this Wilson is a grandson of Meshack and Nell. It is unclear if it is the same Wilson as the one taxed in 1816/1817.
The 1830 census has Wilson Africa as the head of a household of 6 free colored persons:
Free Colored Persons - Males - Under 10: 2
Free Colored Persons - Males - 24 thru 35: 1
Free Colored Persons - Females - Under 10: 1
Free Colored Persons - Females - 24 thru 35: 1
Free Colored Persons - Females - 55 thru 99: 1
