Biography
Gunnar Olsen Egga was born in 1715 at Egga, Selbu, Sør-Trøndelag, Norway. He was the son of Ola Gunnarsen Egga (ca. 1671-1744) and Kari Nilsdt. Høgås (ca. 1683-1751). In 1742, he married Ingeborg Sjurdsdt. Aftret. She was born in 1712 at Aftretsbrauta, Selbu. Ingeborg died in 1754. She was the daughter of Bardo Arnsen Aftret (ca. 1646-1725) and Ingeborg. They were on Høgåsen from 1748 until 1763. Gunnar died in 1772 at Hammer.
