Biography
Margaret married Roger Wilberfoss in 1630. His residence was given as Wilberfoss on the marriage licence and hers as Stockton. This is probably Stockton on the Forest, only about 9 miles from Wilberfoss, rather than the better known Stockton on Tees which is 60 miles away.[1] Roger's mother Ann also came from Stockton, according to the Wilberfoss family pedigree.[2] They had children Roger, Robert, William, Thomas, Anne, Margaret, and Mary.[3]
Unfortunately Dugdale only describes the surviving Issue. The complete baptisms list is more extensive: John 1631, Roger 1632, Anne 1634, Robert 1636, John 1638, William 1641, Twins Margaret & Elizabeth 1642, Twins Ellen & Mary 1645, Thomas 1647. {Sources below}[No Edward W !]
Margaret Died a widow in Wilberfoss in 1679, Buried on 5th Sep 1679. (The record uses the name "Wilbersosse", oh dear, you see why pre-1700 is needed, shame Borthwick don't apply the same standards! Hey ho.)
