Job Agg was born in Gloucestershire, England.

Job Agg was born before 1828 and was baptised on 15 May 1828 in Alderton, Gloucestershire, England. ^[1] He was the son of Charles Agg and Ann Stephens.

In the 1841 Census, Job aged 12 was at home in Alderton, Gloucestershire with his parents Charles and Ann Agg ^[2] along with his siblings:

• James Agg aged 20;
• Hester Agg aged 14;
• William Agg aged 10;
• Robert Agg aged 8;
• Emma Agg aged 6;
• Thomas Agg aged 4; and
• Jane Agg aged 3.

Also in the household were Ann Agg aged 80 (possibly the mother of Charles) and William and Robert Stephens, aged 85 and 80.

Job Agg passed away on 27 May 1842 and his death was registered in Winchcomb, Gloucestershire, England in the June quarter. ^[3]
