Biography
Manser received two knight's fees in the honour of Arundel in 1135[1] and held one from Robert Marmion of Tamworth in 1167.[2] In 1172 he was liable for knight-service for castle-guard at Falaise.[3]
Research Notes
Presumably too young to have been the Manasser who, with Fitz Richard, a son of Eginulph d'Aguillon that was slain at the Battle of Hastings.[4]
