Mary Jane Ahart was born 17 Feb 1868, in Grass Valley, Nevada County, California. She is a daughter of James Ahart and Elizabeth Field.
In 1870, her family resided in Diamond Springs, El Dorado County, California. Parents James and Elizabeth, children Laura, George, Mary, and Sarah. [1]
She married John Barkley, 1886 in Placerville, El Dorado County, California.
Mary passed away 17 Dec 1958, in Placerville, El Dorado County, California. She is buried in the Placerville Union Cemetery. [2]
