The bride, who was given .away by her, father, was gowned in ivory silk chiffon
over taffetas. The full skirt flowed softly, into a short train and her voil of Ivory cut tulle was held in place by a French coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of Llly-of-the-Valley and eucharis lilies.
Master James Butler, of the Maris! Brothers College, accompanied by .Miss
Nugent at, 'the. organ, sang on "Ave Maria.
At the reception, which was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mrs. Ahern received the guests wearing a frock of black ribbed crepe featuring a Venetian polnt lace vestee. The bridegroom's mother
chose black 'Angora crepe with matching accessories.
On; leaving; for the honeymoon, which will be spent touring the South Coast and Northern Rivers districts, Mrs. McMahon wore a frock- of Admiralty blue with a toning hat in tam-o-shanter mode[9]
