Christopher Christian Ahles was born in Prussia in1827, probably on January 10th as stated by [1]. He was the son of Mathias Ahles and Margaretta Schmartz. He was one of seven brothers that all migrated to America. He had one sister, but she didn't survive to adulthood.
Marriage
He married Margaretha Bauer in 1856 and they had a dozen children.
Christopher fought in the Civil War for the Union.
Christopher passed away in 1913 on either the 17th or the 20th of February.
