Biography
Sebastian Aichmann was leading cititzen of Schorndorf and was a frequent sponsor of baptisms in the Stadtkirche (City Church). Sebastian, called a "Citizen of Schorndorf," is buried in the Stadtkirche. His inscription reads: Im Jar Christj 1581 Den 19 Decembris, Starb der Ehrenvest und Furnem Herr Sebastian Aichmann Burger Schorndorff Dem Gott gnaad Amen. His death is also recorded in Martin Crusius and Johann Jacob Moser's Schwabisher Chronik: Zweite Band [Volume 2], (1733), p. 348.
